Got into Windows 7 by using the on-screen keyboard. Tried with an old usb keyboard and ps2 mouse. 
Restarted and went straight into ASUS Express Gate (stripped down linux web browser, running off mobo). Yesterday morning powered up to find my Logitech MK250 wireless mouse and keyboard not working.
some message about video drivers I think? Problems started abut 5 days ago with screen freezing for about 10 seconds, going black and recovering.
